36th Annual CMH Hospital Ball to Honor Anne M. Schomaker & Deborah E. Lans

Lans at its 36th Annual Hospital Ball on June 15 at The Wire Event Center on the scenic Hudson River in Coxsackie. The CMH Foundation is pleased to honor Ms. Schomaker and Ms. Lans for their dedicated service and compassionate leadership. Ms. Schomaker has served on the Columbia Memorial Health Foundation Board of Trustees since 2008. She is currently the immediate past Chair and has served on the Hospital Ball Committee for five years. For 33 years she taught the upper elementary grades in Hauppauge, Long Island. She completed her master’s degree at Hofstra University in special education majoring in childhood learning disabilities and was selected for Who's Who Among American Teachers in 1990. She has served in many volunteer roles including as Trustee of the Columbia County Historical Society and Habitat of Humanity; Trustee for the Columbia Memorial Health Foundation, serving as Chair from 2019 – 2023; President of the Kinderhook Garden Club and President of the Columbia-Greene Child Advocacy Center.
