Columbia Memorial Health Foundation Appoints Spampinato to Board
Luchy Edwards2025-09-03T17:48:41+00:00The Columbia Memorial Health Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Columbia Memorial Health, has appointed Jonathan Spampinato of Hudson to its Board of Trustees. Spampinato is a senior manager for global sustainability at Wallenius Wilhelmsen, a publicly traded Norwegian shipping company. Over the past 20 years, Spampinato has built communications strategies, activities, and teams for some of the world’s most recognizable brands including IKEA, Visiting Nurses, Lysol, Pfizer, and UNICEF. Additionally, Spampinato served as deputy political director for former Massachusetts governor W. Mitt Romney, head of communications at the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (now ISSB) and head of communications at IKEA Foundation. He also helped launch and develop Better Shelter, the award-winning social enterprise that designs and manufactures flat-pack emergency shelters, where he also served as one of the organization’s founding board members.
