Hudson, New York – State Senator James L. Seward (R-51st), third from left, toured the intensive care unit (ICU) at Columbia Memorial Hospital Tuesday, February 19, along with (l-r) Keith Lampman, executive director of the Columbia-Greene Hospital Foundation; Jane Ehrlich, CMH president and CEO; and Stephen Dunn, chairman of the CMH Board of Trustees. The ICU is undergoing a $2.5 million renovation and expansion in the final phase of the hospital’s $10 million “Fulling the Dream” capital campaign, of which $8.5 million has been raised so far. When the work is completed ICU patients will have three times the space currently available. And natural light, now known to aid in the healing process, will stream in from windows bricked over 30 years ago.
