(Hudson, NY.) The Columbia Memorial Hospital Auxiliary has given $56,800 from its yearlong fundraising efforts to the Columbia-Greene Hospital Foundation. These funds are being used to purchase equipment for the hospital. Thanks to these fundraising efforts, the hospital will purchase stretchers for the Emergency Department, blood pressure monitors and stands for Ambulatory Surgery, a non-stress test monitor for OB, an automated external defibrillator, I.V. Pumps used throughout the hospital, and chairs and benches for the Medical Office Building
Rosemary Maichin, Auxiliary President and a longtime supporter of the hospital, recently presented the check to Betsy Gramkow, Executive Director of the Foundation. Ms Maichen noted that the Auxiliary’s donations are made possible thanks to the dedicated group of auxilians who work so diligently on behalf of the hospital throughout the course of the year.
“The Auxiliary’s fundraising efforts on behalf of our hospital are extraordinary and we cannot thank you enough,” Ms. Gramkow said in accepting the donation. “The funds you are so generously donating will enhance the comfort and well-being of patients and visitors and will benefit many people who I know appreciate the work of our dedicated group of auxilians.”
